Been dreaming of a 66' Classic VW Beetle? Car comes with original window sticker and warranty booklet. Car has been in SC its entire life! Bought new in SC. The car will turn heads. It is a classic beige/white exterior with clean white interior. The color combination looks GREAT! The exterior paint is recent. The interior was replaced within the past year. It is beautiful with no rips. Black headliner and visors were installed at the same time. New Carpets. Door panels were not replaced but are in great shape. New window scrapers, felt, and vent window gaskets are new. All glass is good with no cracks and new gaskets all around. This VW has pop out rear windows. New fender beads. New light gaskets. New hubcaps. Tires are 80 to 90 percent. New Master Cylinder, wheel cylinders, and lines. New ball joints and tie rod ends. It has been coverted to 12 volts. This was done directly with parts from a 67' model car. The job was done right...not rigged. Has Sapphire IV am/fm radio. The radio is a 6 Volt radio so it is not hooked up. We are not sure if it works. It has a 1600cc single port motor. It runs good but sounds like it could use a valve adjustment. The car is used for trips to town occasionally. We have never driven this car on a long trip or on the interstate. It is a 12 mile round trip to town. So, high bidder will use his/her own discretion when deciding whether to pick up, trailer, or have shipped. Beetles are novelty items to use. We do not use them for trips or daily transportation. It usually sits under our garage. We are selling this car to restore a 59' beetle. See pix...it does have a ding in the rear fender. It was backed into/tapped a bird feeder pole in the yard. It has had a partial pan replaced underneath the battery. The left pan has been completely replaced. Small amount of rust in the bottom of the left heater channel. This could very easily be repaired from underneath the car. No need for heater channel to be replaced. It has been there for years and has not gotten any worse. I have tried to explain car and provide pix from all angles. Please email us with any questions prior to bidding. We will answer quickly and honestly. Car is available for inspection in the midlands of SC prior to auction end. We require a deposit within 24 hours of auction end and full payment within 3 days. Please be prepared to do this before bidding. This car is sold as is. It is a 66 model car. It is in above average condition but does not have a warranty. Thanks for looking at our auction.
