The item you could be bidding on is a 1970 VW Beetle. I am the third owner after buying it from my neighbor who had it for quite a while. I have made many repairs to it and have receipts for most of the work. I recently put two new tires and got it aligned. I also had the crank shaft and other work done to it 1627 miles ago that totaled 1400+ dollars. The clutch is the issue that prevents it from running right now...and there is no battery (someone stole it). I had the clutch put in about 10000 miles ago so I don't know if it needs a repair or replacement. It will hardly go into gear and when it does, it will go into gear and drive without lifting the clutch petal. The interior needs work. I have used a hodgepodge of things to make it comfortable but most would want to overhaul it. I do not have the money to repair this car and afford the cost of gas. This is great for someone who would like a quick fix for gas prices (It gets great mileage....never measured it though); someone who wants to remodel a classic car, or for the original parts that it has.
