I got this car from an older gentleman for my birthday. I really hate to depart with it. I drive this car mainly on weekends for fun. This is a Karmann Edition Super Beetle which VW only produced 10,684 between 1971-1979. The car has been garage kept and has no oil leaks. The car is in very good shape and runs great. The motor is a 4 cylinder with fuel injection runs smooth with no obvious problems. The car has been serviced regularly by a VW mechanic. The wheel alignment is good and was recently serviced because I felt some vibration. The mechanic replaced the tie-rod ends which has completely fixed that problem. Brake work great. Fuel injection is fine. This car was made in Dec. 1979 one of the last ones built. The interior is black with 1 small rip on the drivers seat. I have taken a pic of it for you. The convertible top is in good shape the only problem is the trim around the back glass has some wear on it and could be replaced. I have not replaced it because It does not leak it would only be for cosmetic purposes. I have enjoyed driving the car it is a lot of fun and attracts a lot of attention. I will be glad to give you any info that I have on the car. I have all the original manuals to the car as well as a towing system. Which I have never used.
