This is a VERY clean 1963 Volkswagen Beetle. (VW BUG) It will turn heads everywhere you go and will sip the gas getting there. It is all original save the new paint and the lowering kit. The engine has been rebuilt about 5000 miles ago. This car is beautiful. It is NOT a show winner. A show winner would easily bring $20,000 at auction and I don't expect anywhere near that. It looks very clean but if you get up close, you will find minor blemishes. I don't want to misrepresent this car. It runs great. It is a 45 year old car so don't expect a maintenance free car. You will have to love this car and there will usually be somthing to attend to. Some little part will finally give out and then you get the enjoyment of finding one on "The Samba" and keeping it beautiful. The car has the original 1192 cc motor with a rebuilt about 5000 miles ago. Its still got the 6 volt electircal system and all the lights work fine. The floor pans and heater channels are great. There are no dents in the car. The car is lowered 2.5 inches but I have the original spindles if you want to resore it to stock ride. I've got a 6 volt battery charger, a starter solenoid and a new ignition switch if you wnat them. It doesn't need them. It comes with a sturdy tow bar that comes in handy for short hauls. What ever the price, it will include a vintage Coca Cola cooler for an extra $100. Locals can come look at the car. Once again, if you are looking for a car that will take you there in lots of style and very little gas, this is the one. If you are looking for a cool car that requires very little maintenance and attention, this is not your car. I don't care what anyone tells you. Any 45 year old car will require a certain amount of care. There is no such thing as a 45 year old daily driver that doesn't require some attention. Now, I will say it reaquires little attention. For instance, this weekend, I replaced a seal on the gas tank and the deck lid spring. Just little things that cost me about $20 bucks and about 30 minutes of my Saturday but if I let them go, they would be bigger problems later. Love this car and it will love you back. I almost don't want to sell it but I have too many projects and too little garage space. I can't stand the thought of storing this car outside so I'm going to sell it to free up my garage. I will deliver if its only a day trip or a cool place to stay the night. 75 cents per mile.
