1979 Volkswagon Superbeetle Convertible
This is a fuel injection car, 1600 engine, with a four speed transmission. It has 81,000 miles on it.
I had it painted, new top put on it, the top has a new headliner foam pad. The top is white, the car is gray. The car has newer tires, new running boards, bumpers are in very good shape. There is a little rust in the fender wells (see photos) other then that it is rust free car. It gets 26 mi in town, and 35 to 40 highway mpg.
I bought this car for my wife, we are the second owners, and this car makes my wife nervous to drive (STICK SHIFT) as we are elderly couple we decided to sell it.
This car is being sold as is, no warranty - either expressed or implied.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipment of vehicle. The car is for sale locally, therefore I reserve the right to stop the auction early. I will not stop the auction before a commitment of purchase, and a deposit of $500.00 has been paid.
Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end to make arrangements for payment and pickup. If no contact is made within 24 hours, I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder or sell it otherwise.
A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours at end of auction. The total amount of payment must be made within 5 days of auction end or at pickup. If full payment is not made within the 5 days /or the car is not picked up, I again reserve the right to re-list or sell otherwise.
This is not a come and kick the tires auction to decide if you went it or not, if you bid on it and buy it you own it. If you would like to see and drive the car prior to the end of auction, contact me via eBay.
I will be out of town on the 4thThis is a 29 year old vehicle. It is not a show car, it has been still used as a daily driver.
