Vehicle Description; For sale is a 1984 Californian VW Westfalia poptop full camper. DESCRIPTION; Sleeps 4 in two beds. Table and curtains. Has a manual transmission and a 1.9 liter water cooled 4 cylinder engine. Van has a 3-way fridge, twin stoves and a sink. I Have the curtain for front windows and mesh for rear door. Radio/Cassette player. Van is fitted with factory A/C but is not currently working, might just need a charge and a belt. Dual heaters. I have some Maintance papers, and Original owners manuals. EXTERIOR: Van looks good. Paint is good. New hub caps. INTERIOR: Looks good. Carpets are good, Front seats are good, Rear seats good. Poptop tent is original and has a patch on drivers side and rear, but still usable. On front of fridge/stove unit there is some paint that peeled off the metal bit, see picture. MECHANICALLY: Van is running good with no known problems. Engine runs strong. Transmission shifts nicely. According to previous owner the engine has been rebuilt 35,000 miles ago. These vans are increasing in value every year due to there rareness now, specially the later models like this 1984. They do about 20 mpg and can be parked nearly anywhere as they are not classed as a RV. I have tried to explain the van as best as I can, but do bear in mind it is a 24 year old van and not perfect.
