1986 Volkswagen Vanagon.
Clear Florida title in my name. VW Vanagon. The ultimate mini-van. Took some pics at the VW shop Thursday after it got waxed. This VW runs and drives great. Great for errands and short trips. TONS of room, it's comfortable, and it has enough room to take EVERYONE to the grocery store or Busch Gardens in comfort : )
The good:
* Just serviced at VW shop - Belts, oil change, transmission service, tune-up.
* Automatic transmission!
* Original paint shines like new.
* Pioneeer AM/FM/CD w/4-speakers.
* Super clean interior and carpet.
* Even has ICE COLD overhead A/C!
* New Bosch wiper blades.
* Correct "blue" VW anti-freeze in the system, no water leaks.
* Clean carpet, non-smoker owned as far as I can tell. NO nasty smells or stains : )
The bad?
** Dent in sliding door from a pole in a parking garage (see pic). Ugh.
Complete VW Vanagon sliding door in excellent shape is available for $200.
* Some paint chips up front from highway driving.
* Minor dent in rear bumper.
* About 5-rust holes about the size of a pencil lead up front.
No other rust, or starting of rust, very clean underbody and body, broken odometer.
No warranty implied or offered on my 22-year old VW. Clear Florida title in MY name.
