Vehicle Description
Nice relatively dry California Split Screen EZ Camper bus, WALKTHROUGH! Basically is just a Kombi now as all of the Camper interior is long gone. This bus has been owned by the same owner for the last 15+ years.
He lost interest so it has been sitting for the last 4 + years or so. When he parked it it had just had a NEW transmission installed. It is mostly Original Paint Velvet Green. It does come with it's Original Paint rear Hatch, I could not find the original paint decklid. It has a nice Salt & Pepper rear seat in place of what would be the "rock and roll" style bed.. It has it's one curtain rod as well that is missing in the pics,also has this curtain.
There is some rust on the outside edge of the Rear floor where the cargo doors meet,actually is just inward right around the seat mount . Also another spot in the corner where the floor meets the B pillar behind Passenger seat. Other then these areas it is very dry. Some extra holes in nose,maybe it had a tire on the nose many years ago? also a Antenna. The driver front floor wedge has been changed with a repro piece of sheetmetal,and was not finished,so this piece needs to be welded into place
It is Titled to these Black California Plates, the motor has dual Carbs,should be no problem getting it to run again, will most likley have to touch the brakes.
In General a Nice dry Bus to drive,or a great one to restore and ad your own special touch's to. It's always nice when you can walk through to the rear and not have to get out and walk around !

The winner of the auction has the option to purchase at a extra fee a nearly complete 1968 so60 Westfalia interior that is in decent shape. I think it will fit in the '66 ? Email for a link on it.
