The Good, Bad (There is really no bad here) the Ugly— 1. Engine—Her engine is a 1600 BRAND NEW engine with 3000 miles on it. It runs smoothly with significant power. Her engine as I said is perfect (aside from the battery that needs charging—it's a new battery but the vehicle has been sitting for a few months). She accelerates very well. I had her at 70 MPH she cruised right along. 2. Transmission—She has no oil leaks, shifting is easy, though her reverse is stickier than other gears, no actual transmission problems (her brake is a bit soft but i like it more responsive). 3. Exhaust—I hate her exhaust system because it is too loud for me (a personal preference i am told this carborator allows her to run faster with more power). I would install dual carbs for aesthetic reasons. 4. Brakes—I think her brakes are a bit soft all she requires is a minor adjustment (I think). No spare. 6. Electrical—Converted to 12 volt. No interior lighting. Headlights do not work on low beam but are super bright on high beam. Tail signals work but are weak. Her horn does work but is weak. She has the original antenna. 7. Interior—She is in desperate need for a full restoration. Original front seats. They are worn, but not ripped. Would require oiling cleaning. She has original rubber floor lining. She needs interior door panels.8. Dash—Uncut dash.. Original space for radio (there is no radio). Speedometer works, but the needle is broken would require replacing (it’s an annoyance for me, but for someone else might be able to live with it). Dash lights do work but are weak. Her split windshield window is in excellent condition with no scratches or cracks. 9. Exterior—Bumpers are original need restoration, as they are solid but rusty. No part of her body frame is bent, aftermarket or broken, although there are dings small dents. She is straight, solid strong. 10. Windows—Her rear door windows were aftermarket hastily installed (not by me). There are missing lever windows which causes rain leakage inside the rear area. Her original windows do not leak. Her sunroof was a hastily installed (not by me) hole sawed into a square hole fitted with temporary plexiglass. I think it’s ugly needs refinement. All windows (except for double door windows) are original in excellent shape. 11. Tires—Tires are in good shape. No spare. 12. Accessories— This vehicle comes with four additional doors four additional windows, all original. 13. Doors—All six doors (front driver passenger doors, plus the two rear double doors) are original, open close with working latches. However, NONE of these doors lock would require the locking mechanism to be installed. Also, there are four additional doors that are original panel doors (no windows), plus four windows (without doors). These come with the bus in the sale. 14. Locks—Her engine gas tank door opens locks with the same original church key. None of her other doors lock. 15. Rust—I have not put this vehicle on a lift, so I don’t know the quality of her undercarriage way beneath it. I have looked as far underneath as I could lying on the ground looked her over. I believe that she is in good condition considering that she is 47 years old has not been restored. There are small rust spots in many areas of the exterior, but I consider these minor blemishes that would require sanding, scraping, priming painting. There is a small dent in her right front area that would slightly require more body work. There are no rust holes, only cosmetic sanding, scraping, priming painting. 16. Finally—For a vehicle that is 48 years old has never been restored, I think she is in great shape. With her original parts, plus four additional doors four additional windows. Absolutely NO TRADES. You are responsible for shipping or driving her home. She is safe enough to go any amount of distance.
