This van is for parts or restoration, it is not currently road worthy. There is lots of potential here to make this a great bus once again, or use the many syncro westy parts to make the perfect bus.

Detailed Vehicle Summary (based on 3rd party inspection):
The bus runs and drives, the transmission and driveline work well including the 4WD. There are no noises or vibrations whatsoever going down the road.
The engine smokes. The reason is unknown, but the coolant reservoir has some oil residue in it.
The steel brake lines should all be replaced due to rust, the van does currently stop, however the left rear drum brake is hanging up slightly. The clutch line is leaking causing the clutch to just barely work.
The van has body seam rust (sometimes extensive) in all of the typical areas. Please look closely at photos.
The pop top canvas is in good shape, the screen has one tear that has been sewn. The pop top gasket is new.
The brown interior is very clean and well kept, no stains, cigarette burns, or funny smells.
There is a crack in the windshield, and the fuel gage doesn’t work.
