This Westfalia is in great condition mechanically, interior and body. Its a start up and drive anywhere Vanagon. Engine was rebuilt about 9,800 ago. Included: new cam, new pistons/cyclinders, clutch, heads, valves and crankshaft resurfaced, rear main seal replaced, new air intake, one new fuel injector. Also new clutch master cyclinder, new clutch slave cyclinder. The body and undersurface are original and excellent. There is a small strip of rust in a seam above the passenger rear wheel; no big deal and easily repaired. Some dings on the front panel and minor blemishes elsewhere but it looks very good just the way it is. Interior is the Wolfsburg upgrade and is perfect except for one tiny (1/16 inch) pull on the rear cushion. No stains or odors. Has the Wolfsburg 3rd seat so that there are 2 buckets and 2 bench for seating of up to 8. Canvas is very good with one rip in the rear panel. Easily stitched. Tires very good having only about 10,000 miles on them. CD player with 6 speakers; 2 original and 4 new. Both front and rear heaters work great. The van runs where it should temperature wise and has never overheated but it also provides excellent heat. The A/C didn't blow cold when I bought it and as I am not an A/C person never had it charged up. The aftermarket cruise worked great but the mechanic who rebuilt the engine didn't hook it up and I have not bothered. The odometer was broken when I bought it and was replaced with a used one. Mileage stated is since the rebuild. All camping equipment (stove, 3 way frig, water) work. Has perfect condtion screen for rear hatch. Has 2 batteries (great for camping) with a Perco switch so that you can run one or the other or both or completely shut off the electrical. Has both front and rear tables. Sleeps 4. Has a console between the front buckets for storage and coffee while driving (quickly removed if you don't want it. Gets 22 mpg on 87. Black shelving not included (available at Target). "Delux" tissue dispensor included but easily removed it you don't want it. Comes with some extra tune up parts. Buyer is responsible for pick up but I will consider assisting.
