Vehicle Description
-1989 MkII Golf 4door Wolfsburg edition Blue exterior, blue interior. Runs great, no missing or sputtering. Slight oil leak at sensors near oil filter. New axles (both) and new valve cover gasket. body is in pretty good shape, interior is fair. (has 10/07 inspection as i had been on military deployment out of country since 6/07 but parts needed are included with sale). This was my daily driver, 30 mile commute everyday without any problems. Since returning from overseas, I have purchased a toyota pickup for a daily commuter and need this one gone. 1.8L / Automatic **The bad** -sunroof has been rtv'd shut by PO, leaks a small dribble, just needs more RTV -windshield has rtv along top edge by PO, does not leak but looks ugly -small amount of rust around edge of rear wheel arches -minor oil leak mentioned above -fuel gauge or sending unit is broken (gas gauge works, but shows between 2/4 and 1/2 tank when actually empty) as of 5-13-08 I recently took it to the shop to see what it would need to pass VA inspection -front wheel bearings (possibly tightened) -wiper blades front and rear (i have purchased, they are included) -licence light bulb (purchased and included as well) -rear brake shoes (purchased and included as well) these parts are included with the sale though i don't have time to install them as we are dealing with a house fire and it is taking my free time right now. the pioneer head unit in the interior picture does not come with the car, i can throw in another head unit for extra $$$ CAR IS SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTY.
