1998 Volkswagen GOLF GTi VR6
Loaded, lowered and fast!
Up for sale is a GTI VR6 that was just traded in. This GTI has been modified with a lowered suspension, MOMO Corse black/yellow race seats in the front. The race seats have a couple of small tears but nice overall. The rear seats are still the factory leather seats. Car comes with a very nice momo steering wheel. The yellow leather is worn on the top part of the steering wheels but could be dyed black. The car drives and runs very well. The VR6 (6 cylinder motor is powerful and efficiant and good for a tonne of KMS. The car is not perfect but in very good shape overall. The hood and hatch could use some paintwork. There are also some dings around the body. Overall it's very nice. The suspension is solid and doesnt bottom out. I was very surprised that by how nice it drove with this amount of a drop. The car comes with the "driver edition" VW alloys which look great. The tires are good all around. Two of the tires are winter tires. This car also comes complete with power door locks, steering, windows and mirrors. Various dash pieces were colour coded in yellow and can be left alone if you like it or simply returned to black stock. That's what I would do and it's a very cheap and easy process.
The reserve on this car has been set at a very reasonable price. Do not ask me what it is. This is an auction so simply bid what you are willing to pay. I will not be giving this car away either. I keep a close eye on all bidders. If you are new I will email you to confirm authenticity. I have been wasting way too much time with non-buyers.
Car is selling as-is, where it is with no warranties. You are welcome to have the shop that I use do any work on this GTI at your cost. They charge very reasonable rates. I also have very reasonable rates for shipping anywhere in Canada.
Please do all inspections and test drives prior to bidding. I only want to deal with real buyers please!

This auction is in Canadian dollars. Bidders are welcome to inspect the vehicle anytime during auction. A $1000.00 deposit is required immeadiatey after auction end. FULL payment is due in full within 3 business days of auction closing. Certified Funds will be accepted. If paying by personal cheque the vehicle will be held until it clears. Please bid only if you are serious and understand these terms. Your bid signifies your agreement to these terms.Please note: Only bid if you are serious about this car and have the funds in place prior to bidding. I have now chosen to keep my car auctions set to "private" bidding only. This way I can keep both my clients' and my business to ourselves and to avoid any type of online solicitation fraud.
I am a dealer therefore you must pay taxes. Ontario residents and local pick-up's must pay 13% GST and PST. If I ship the car to you out-of-province then you only pay the 5% GST. Hello, I have been getting alot of emails and calls about this GTi from all over. Please only bid if you are buying and understand the terms. The car is selling as is simply because the car is modified. However, the car runs and drives very well. The suspension is very tight and the car brakes very well so I highly doubt there will be any surprises.
Also, the car will not be given away. The bidding is still under $800.00 and is very, very far away from the selling price. The engine, seats and transmission alone are worth the local price of $3650.00 that I am asking (see kijiji and craigslist for this car)
Also, don't email me with unreasonable offers. This car is the cheapest VR6 for sale. If it doesnt sell doesnt mean it will be given away for a crazy low price, fire sale offer. Instead you will see VSR Automobiles new race car come to life ;-)
