I purchased this car 11/06. I wanted to be ahead of the gas crisis but I found that I was too lazy to make biodiesel. This car runs great gets @ 40 mpg. It runs fine on the biodiesel that I purchased. It has new struts and I have done numerous improvements(the local VW guy did anyway). Someone backed into the front left and crumpled the front panel but did not hurt the hood. The same side headlight is intact but out of its setting.
The car has rust around the windshield and the wheel wells. The rear right passenger door does not open from the outside. The inside is in good condition and is 17 years old. It blows cold a/c air. The car needs a new fuse assembly for the glow plugs and is hot wired right now (bypassing the fuse). If you want to do a little work to a great car with extremely low miles, here you go. IF you have any questions make sure you ask them before the last day as it will not allow me to answer them with less than 12 hours in the sale.
