Daughters College expense forces sale or otherwise this vehicle would definitely not be for sale. I purchased this car sight unseen in 2001 from Ivan Bastida in California who specialized in Karmann Ghias. He advised me that this vehicle is by far one of the finest examples of a Karmann Ghia he had seen. In the time I have owned this car it has been totally garage kept and regular maintenance professionally completed by Adam Mickhail owner of Cinco Ranch Car Care. The car has only been driven around our neighborhood and occasionally taking my children to school. They love the attention it brings as this is a car that begs people to stop and stare. This car presents a terrific opportunity to purchase a car that is not quite show car quality although offers an outstanding example of what a Karmann Ghia can be at a price that is fair and reasonable and undeniably a realistic investment. Only 2,650 convertible units were produced in 1973 increasing the desirability for many reasons and at the same time offering pure fun and a positive investment ownership experience. Also there is one small ding on the left front quarter panel. Please note....very important ....the dice on the mirror do not go with the car as my daughter has requested them. The top will need replacement soon, tires need balancing and if desired chrome additions with carpet in the trunk would make this car awesome. These things have been given consideration in the final price. The odometer reflects 35,050 miles as 07/15/08. You will love this car. It is 35 years old and there is nothing on the road that resembles it so be prepared for the attention it creates and deserves. Any bids made with a feedback rating of less than five positive will e cancelled unless you email me first and I approve. Car is for sale locally and I do reserve the right to cancel any and all bids and remove the listing from Ebay. Buyer will be responsible for all shipping cost , transportation company locator and cost associated as such. Non Refundable payment deposit of $500 is due immediately upon completion of the auction and the balance remaining within seven (7) days of auction completion. Cash or Money order payment is accepted. Clear title in hand and transferable upon sale completion. Car is sold as is where is. Look at the pictures and you will understand why I internally struggle with having to part with this car. It is a beauty. Please bid responsibly as it is a binding contract obligation.
