1969 VW FIBERGLASS DUNE BUGGY (Street Legal)
Manx Clone | 1600cc engine
This is very clean, newly built (2007) Manx style fiber glass body street legal dune buggy.
Less than 100 miles on it. Built from ground up. 1969 Beetle foundation completely restored.
This is a perfect clone to the Meyer's Manx mold. Even the raised hood emblem area is identical to a Manx. Unlike many other bodies I've seen, this is very thick and solid. The sparkle blue gel coat finish looks great in photos, but you have to see this thing in person on a sunny day. It's incredible...
I have only used this car for local cruising and a couple of car shows, and it gets plenty of attention.
The newly rebuilt engine runs strong and sounds awesome. The rebuilt suspension is beefy and it's off road-worthy.
Original VW Wolfscrest emblem steering wheel, column, shift knob and speedometer for that cool vintage look.
It is street legal and tagged as the original 1969 Beetle. I've never had a problem with getting pulled over.
All lights and blinkers are brand new and work fine.
Thanks and good luck!
