2001 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT GLS
I'm going to keep the description as simple as possible... THIS IS A GREAT CAR, AND ABSOLUTELY GREAT ON GAS!!!
There is nothing wrong mechanically that I am aware of. I just had the driver-side CV 1/2 shaft replaced and it has a warranty for 6 months. The rating on the car is 31 miles per gallon -- however, I do A LOT of highway driving and have always averaged closer to 39 miles per gallon! The 5-speed makes the car very fun to drive, and easy on gas.
The 2.8L powerhouse paired with the 5-speed transmission means there is always enough power when you need it!
This car has pretty much every option, front and side air bags, ABS, heated mirrors, CD and cassette player, power seat, power mirrors, power windows with automatic down and UP, safety locks, alarm, key fob, hookup for trunk CD-changer, etc.. etc.. There are many more options... too many to list .... Don’t forget the power moon roof!
