22,000 miles on completely rebuilt engine.
Complete front end, new brake lines, cylinders, calipers, shocks, Interior 100% original and pristine. No dash cracks. Weber carb conversion.
It's been professionally repainted at some point. Paint looks great and is period appropriate.
I bought this car last summer as it was the identical car I had in high school and I loved it. It came from a super meticulous owner in Seattle who moved back east for a new job. I drove this car to Chicago and it was flawless....it got 25mpg, behaved perfectly, and put a big smile on my face the entire way. I relived my senior year of high school, thought about my high school sweetheart, and went back in time enjoying every moment. This car has some minimal flaking of the clear coat on the trunk, and that's about the only thing that's not perfect. The trunk is flawless, the radio/cassette is awesome, it burns zero oil, has brand new michelin tires (purchased right before my ride home to Chicago) and drives like a dream. The reserve is not high, and I am not interested in swapping it..I too am moving and don't have a big garage. Whoever gets this car will love it. It's always been in a garage!!! There isn't any rust anywhere, and never was. Engine compartment and trunk are clean as a whistle. Underside of the car is same.
