Hello Fellow Ebayers: This auction is for a 1995 Volvo 960 Station Wagon with 3rd row seat in the cargo area. Let’s just round the mileage off to 195,000 miles but the actual mileage is 194,200 simply because car is driven every day. This car still looks good, starts ups right away, has great power and has never let us down. I t’s a Volvo and take it from me they are built to run forever.
Please take a look at all the pics http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AaN2bds0bNGLnQemid=sharviewlinkid=link5
and feel free to ask questions. This car has the premium package, all power windows, electrical stuff work, heated seats and 3 settings on the transmission for sport, economy and winter driving. I have owned many Volvos and this model has proven itself to me. I can tell you that this car will drive you anywhere for however long you need it to run. I recently drove 16 hours round trip to pick up furniture that my wife had purchased on Ebay. There is no overheating or hesitation. The engine and transmission are solid. The car is a tank and still gets very good gas mileage for a 6 cyclinder 24 valve engine. So why sell it? Frankly, I would want to keep this car, it has served us well and loves to be on the road. Although this car is dependable, it needs some work and is a 3rd vehicle for our family. Too many cars to maintain at today’s prices. We can’t afford to keep her. I hope that there is some one out there that can drive it and maintain it as there are many more years left for this vehicle. So here is what it needs: The rear brake rotors and pads need replacing. I AM INCLUDING NEW REAR ROTORS AND PADS. The front rotors are good but the pads need replacing as well. I AM INCLUDING FRONT PADS. The braking power is good you can drive and stop no problem but this is something you want make sure you do first. The master brake cylinder is leaking. I top off the brake fluids weekly, I make sure to check it and keep the levels as they should be. The car needs a new heater core, it has been bypassed which means no heat in the winter. You will notice that there is an electric heater on the dash board. I added 3 electric heaters with separate switches to create heat through out the car. The electric heaters were installed only as a temporary solution. You can remove them once a new heater core is installed. The rear wiper works but does not return to the side position. Some guy yanked on it thinking it was a handle while helping my wife load groceries. I AM INCLUDING A REAR WIPER MOTOR but I think you just need to reposition the motor arm so that it returns to the same place every time. The support shocks for the engine hood need replacing, they lose their strength over time, its a very common problem. I think the tie rods are ready for replacement too. All shocks were replaced about six months ago. The current tires are snow tires 15” with about 50 percent tread on them. There are no tears in the leather but the leather is separating from the top of the front doors, they can be glued back in place. The stereo is premium, sound is wonderful. There is a 6 CD changer as well, works great. The car has passive alarm from the dealer, it needs a new remote fob or batter (I will include the old one). Doors and locks are power. The rear passenger door handle sticks sometimes but hasn’t done it lately. Mirrors are heated. Fog lights are after market and were installed into the orginal fog light wells. There is a remote for the fog lights so that you can turn them on or off from a distance. The latch on the glove compartment door doesn’t work. My 5 year old son broke it somehow. Kids! There are times the exhaust sounds louder to me in front and then it’s just a quiet as a mouse. The exterior is in really good shape and the thule rack is included. The car color is winter white and shines up nicely. The car is sold as is and to the best of my knowledge. A 200 dollar deposit is required within 24 hours of the winning bid. The balance is due by the 7th day after the auction end. Local pickup is preferred. Thank you for looking and good luck!
