1995 Volvo 965 - Estate Wagon
This is the last of the straight 6, rear wheel drive Volvo Estate wagons. A quintessential New England car. Family owned from the dealer floor in 1995. An exceptionally well kept Volvo 960 wagon that has been garage kept. Carfax will show that the car was purchased new in Kentucky, re-registered in Florida where it was kept as the winter car and now currently registered in Connecticut where I have been driving it to the train station for the past year. Certified Volvo maintained since it drove off the assembly line in Sweden. All maintenance is current with supporting documentation. Have recently spent $3000+ in preventative maintenance over the past 9 months, which is a great deal for the winner, as I estimate the current market value to be around $2500. This is well below the true value of the car in its current condition. All new brakes. New rotors and pads on all 4 corners. All fluids have been flushed and replaced, including transmission and radiator. New timing chain and serpentine belt. Pictures are worth a thousand words. You will see that the car is in pristine condition. I have additional pictures that I can e-mail you if interested. The car has been fully inspected and passed the Connecticut DMV emissions testing with flying colors 11/28/2007. E-mail me and I can send you a copy of the vehicle inspection report and the maintenance receipt from Volvo of Stamford. I have been driving the car for the last year or so. It drives like a dream and is straight as an arrow on the interstate at 80Mph. I am currently running an updated set of OEM Volvo V70 alloy rims with a brand new set of all-season radials. The original alloy rims come with the car and can be seen in the provided pictures. The tires on the original rims are about 40%. They would make for an excellent set of snow tires. There is a slight scuff on the corner of the front bumper which can be seen in the pictures, as well as a few nicks on the top of the rear bumper. The only other notable wear is on the side bolster of the drivers seat and is clearly seen in the picture. It actually looks worse in the picture then it does in real life. You may find a few small dings or nicks, although with an exception of the bumpers, there is nothing significant worth mentioning. While this car is in exceptional condition, please remember that it is 13 years old. Mileage is well below the national average of 15,000 miles per year. All the electronics on the car work and everything is fully functional as would be expected. Some notable extras are as follows:
1. 6 disc cd changer in rear
2. stage 1 receiver hitch on rear
3. extra set of alloy wheels
4. rear-seat child booster
5. electric seats
6. sunroof
Please e-mail me with any specific questions you may have or if you would like for me to send you the additional pictures. I am going to throw in a full tank of premium unleaded gasoline so you can drive the car home if you are coming from out of town.

I was getting the car ready for sale on Labor Day when the front passenger side window glass came loose from the guide arms on the electric motor. The window motor is still completely functional and currently holds the window in the up position. I spoke with Volvo service and was told that this is a fairly common occurrence that can be easily fixed with a straight labor rate of one hour. Depending upon what your local Volvo labor rate is, please make an allowance in your final high offer.
