Vehicle Description
You are bidding on a late 40's Willys special bodied delivery truck. These vehicles were specially built on a Willys Jeep Truck two wheel drive chassis. This very unusual truck is in very poor condition and will require a total restoration. The engine and transmission is missing. Otherwise the truck is reasonably complete. The rear differential and drive shaft is there as well as the front axle. The truck is mainly constructed of aluminum over a steel frame. The dash consists of the original rectangular style as used in late 40's Jeep trucks. The grille and front bumper is also from trucks of that era. I have not been able to locate any serial plates or body plates and there is no title available. The 1949 year is simply a guess as well as the milage listed and in no way a guarantee of either! The truck is being sold as-is for parts or restoration only. I am located in Windsor,Pa which is close to York,Pa. Item to be picked up-I will assist in loading on your trailer etc. Bid to own because the reserve is set at what the vehicle would bring for aluminum scrap!!
